For operations where a high stock removal on flat surfaces has to be achieved,
e. g.:
• Removal of oxidised layers on stainless lugs to produce implants.
• Elimination of forged edges and uneven surfaces resulting from prior forging.
• Removal of flat welding seams (stainless steel sinks and containers).

Advantages:

• Strong, tear resistant backing.
• Excellent stability of the grain in the bonding structure. During grinding the
belts remain cool and clean. They also resist loading.
